Consistently inconsistent, the nuances of the un-published cycle
A statement about our inconsistent content publishing cycle and the importance of joining our email correspondence
The positioning of successful secession via iterative failures
In all distilled values we are all a work in progress. The OFAD initiative is no different in its innocence and faults. As concepts and methods evolve there will always be fallout. Missguided directions, discoveries, inconsistency, breakthroughs, impactful gestures and the abandonment of old directions for new paths.
It’s the goal of OFAD to progress, experiment, and embrace failures in the process of succeeding. Growth is always wrought with mistakes and the excitement of discovery. We will always continue in the direction of producing in the light of experimentation with the understanding that everything is a work in progress.
The nature of the incomplete is the voice that we all share and we would like to use ours for sharing what we have access to saying.
In standing corrected
In Perfect World every idea, statement, and item of content produced would be well formatted, succinct, artfully written, and would contain no grammatical errors or typos. Please understand it is in our beliefs that we live in a Beautiful World. A world in which we know that the rules will be kindly imposed by viewers that can look past the little to experience the big.
We thank you for your understanding and appreciate your tolerance for evolution, with that said we always welcome corrections or input all you have to do is connect with OFAD.
Reasoning & the doctrine thereof
-
The goal of making and defining, capturing and sharing.
The building of relationships centered around the creative process across multiple disciplines. These intersection points are core to what we aim to illustrate. The pure nature of OFAD is to create a venue for capturing experiments and subject matter that may not otherwise be articulated or shared with a wider audience. -
Presentation of ideas and projects is another key reason for our existing. Storytelling and the distillation of concepts and ideas via presentation is and will always be a main focus of the OFAD website.
-
Tell a good story and stick to it… It’s always best practice to stick to your story no matter how ridiculous it sounds.
-
On the oceans of habit the shores of change migrate slowly over time. Patience is earned and it costs a lot, with persistence the eventually will happen.
-
Transparency may be risky but is a sign of mutual respect.
