As we all know too well the world is far from awesome place right now.
And we're still figuring it out.
OFAD is the Office of Fine Art & GOOD Design, an ongoing experiment in making things and making sense of them. Part creative practice, part collection of curiosities, part evidence that we probably have too many tabs open.
We are here, eventually, to make good work, bring a little more sense and honesty into the world, and put real heart into what we do. We bring art, design, life, food, pain, ideas and the architecture of change together to make things that are useful, thoughtful, and occasionally a little unexpected. We don’t have answers, we have questions that need to be explored. We do care about the work, the people it reaches, and making the next thing a little better than the last.
Sometimes the work is practical. Sometimes it starts with a question we can’t quite leave alone. Ideally, it has a little heart and a good reason to exist.
We have a habit of not following through, even with the instructions, or when manuals are provided, we have very good intentions. So this is our next try. When the site gets here, we’ll still be putting things together. Just with more to capabilities and optimism for doing something worth visiting.
